What am I looking at?
- Leaderboard — ranks players by the scoring mode chosen at setup.
- Teams by player — each player's squad, with the points each team has earned.
- Groups — the 12 World Cup group tables, with each team's owner.
- Bracket — the knockout rounds, once the group stage ends.
- Fixtures & times — the schedule with kickoff times in your timezone.
- Odds & stats — each player's live chance of owning the eventual champion, plus fun numbers.
A team row in Teams by player: the number on the right is the points that team has earned you; the small "G" tag is its group (GK = Group K); a struck-through name means it has been knocked out.
Group tables: PLD = played, GD = goal difference, PTS = points. The top two of each group (highlighted) qualify automatically.
Leaderboard: "5/5 in" = how many of your teams are still alive. "0-0-0" = a team's wins-draws-losses.
Scoring modes: Points = goals, wins, clean sheets and knockout bonuses. Survival = how many of your teams are still in. Both = the two added together.
How "Both" picks a winner: one winner only — the player with the highest Points + Survival total combined. A single ranking, not two prizes.
Fixtures: the bar under each match is the win chance — home / draw / away — from team strength, shifting toward the leader once a game is in-play.
Odds & stats: the win bars are your live chance of owning the champion (from bookmaker prices, updating as teams go out). The simulator there estimates your odds of winning on Points, Survival or Both.
📋 Summary: the quick digest at the top of Overview — leaders, teams left, top team and goals. The same digest can be posted to Discord from Settings.
🔔 Get alerts: tap it in the ⋯ menu, pick your name, and turn on alerts for your teams — goals, kick-offs, half-time, knockouts and lead changes. Tick exactly which of those you want. On iPhone you must first add the site to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) and open it from that icon; on a laptop just allow notifications. You can also join the group Discord, where the same alerts post for everyone.
Discord bot: in the group server, type / to pull live data — /leaderboard, /summary, /odds, /fixtures, /myteams, /help. It's read-only; nobody can change the draw from Discord.
The draw — Fair vs Weighted: Fair spreads the strongest teams evenly so everyone gets a balanced mix (within each strength band it's still random, so it's fair but not predictable). Weighted is luck-of-the-draw — a bigger team gives better odds but you might land several strong or several weak ones. On the Reveal page, Run draw on the server does the draw on the server and keeps going even if you close the tab — everyone can watch it live.
