A team row in Teams by player: the number on the right is the points that team has earned you; the small "G" tag is its group (GK = Group K); a struck-through name means it has been knocked out.
Group tables: PLD = played, GD = goal difference, PTS = points. The top two of each group (highlighted) qualify automatically.
Leaderboard: "5/5 in" = how many of your teams are still alive. "0-0-0" = a team's wins-draws-losses.
Scoring modes — three ways to win:
Fixtures: the bar under each match is the win chance (home / draw / away).
Odds & stats: your live chance of owning the champion (from bookmaker prices), plus a simulator of your odds to win on each mode.
📋 Summary: the quick digest at the top of Overview — leaders, teams left, top team and goals. The same digest can be posted to Discord from Settings.
⬇ Export: download the standings as a CSV — open it in Excel/Sheets or print it for the group.
🔔 Get alerts: tap Get alerts, pick your name, choose which alerts you want (goals, kick-offs, knockouts, lead changes…). iPhone: first add the site to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) and open it from there. Most match news comes by DM on Discord; the group channel only gets the big games.
Discord bot: type / in the server for live data — /leaderboard, /odds, /fixtures, /myteams, /help. Read-only.
The draw — Fair vs Weighted: Fair spreads strong teams evenly (still random within each band); Weighted is pure luck — bigger teams give better odds but you might land all strong or all weak. On Reveal, Run draw on the server keeps going even if you close the tab.
The pool (leftover teams): spare teams that don't divide evenly. They belong to no one and score for no one — just shown so you can follow them. You always earn only your own team's points.
🔒 A draw is locked. Enter the admin key (shown in the server terminal) to change settings.
Paste a football-data.org token to turn on live scores. This does not touch the draw.
💬 Discord & alerts. Two ways to get notified — players switch them on via 🔔 Get alerts (top bar).
• Phone & desktop push — arrives even when the app is closed. On iPhone each person taps Share → Add to Home Screen first. Needs pip install pywebpush on the server, then restart. Status: —
• Discord (group) — paste a channel webhook and every kickoff / goal / half-time / full-time (incl. extra time & penalties) / knockout / lead change posts there. Most reliable on phones.
• Invite link — paste your Discord server invite. In Discord, set the invite to Never expire with no max uses (Edit invite link → Expire after: Never), so it can't go stale. Then share your-site/join — it always redirects to whatever invite is saved here, so even if you do rotate the invite, the link you've shared keeps working.
• Tracker link — your site address, added as a clickable “Open the tracker” link on every Discord alert.
• Daily summary — automatically post the standings digest to Discord once a day.
Turn this off to silence the communal channel feed of game events for everyone — people who opted in for DMs still get their personal DMs. Bet, win and lead-change posts are unaffected.
The big kill switch. Turn off to silence every notification \u2014 channel posts, personal DMs, @mentions, Telegram and phone pop-ups \u2014 without touching individual settings. (Bet passcodes still get delivered.)
Holds channel goal / kick-off / full-time posts this long so people watching on a delay are not spoiled. Each post still shows the real time & minute it happened. Personal DMs are unaffected.
💷 Betting. Let players stake the points they've earned on games (fractional odds, capped, no cash-out). Off until you switch it on.
• Bet passcodes — each player gets a private code so only they can stake their own points. Generate them, then send each person their code. Players enter it once on the Bets tab (and once on Discord via /bet … pin:CODE).
🛑 Cancel bets. Cancel anyone's open bet — the stake is refunded and it counts as neither a win nor a loss. Bets on games that have already finished can't be cancelled.
Discord logins. Force everyone to log in with Discord again (e.g. a shared or lost device). Passcodes are unaffected.
👤 Accounts & access. See who's linked to each name and fix anything that's wrong. Unlink frees a name so the right person can re-claim it. Block bars a Discord account from ever claiming (use if a stranger gets in) — it also unlinks them. You stay in full control here.
Block a specific Discord account ID (right-click a user in Discord → Copy User ID, with Developer Mode on):
Discord bot (slash commands). Lets anyone in the server type /leaderboard, /summary, /odds, /fixtures, /myteams to pull live data. Read-only — no admin commands.
Create an app at discord.com/developers → copy the three values below. Then set its Interactions Endpoint URL to:https://YOUR-SITE/api/discord_interactions
/notifyme). Verifies alerts work — no bets or points are touched.Backup & restore. Download your draw + results so nothing is ever lost — and restore it on this or a fresh server.
Who's visiting. Recent page views on the site (admin-only).
Admin key. Generate a new key if the old one leaked. The current key stops working immediately — save the new one.
Pings your phone when your team kicks off (and who they're up against), scores, reaches half-time and full-time (including extra time and penalties), or goes out — and when the lead changes.
Spin the wheel to hand out the teams — the tracker, groups and bracket all unlock the moment every team has an owner.
Spin the wheel →How each player's points and league position have moved as matches are played — one line per player. Builds up over the tournament.
The bars above are your Survival odds (owning the eventual winner). To estimate Points, this runs thousands of full tournaments from team strength and counts how often each player tops that leaderboard.
